Dormer Sheds
The Dormer Shed adds substantial daylight into your shed, making the inside feel larger and giving the outside a quaint appearance. The package comes standard with a 7/12 pitch roof and includes three 10x29in horizontal windows.
It is only available in 8ft, 10ft and 12ft widths, but more than one dormer can be added to a building if the building length permits. You can also add dormers to both sides of the gable-style roof.
The basics of our Dormer SHed
Our Dormer Shed is one of the newest additions to the Backyard Outfitter family of buildings. It is built on our Utility Shed style building and offers tons of extra natural light in. If you are looking for your next craft room or spot to place all of your gardening supplies, the Dormer Shed might just be the perfect solution for you.
- Standard with a 7/12 pitch roof

- Treated buildings have 81in inside walls
- Painted/Urethane buildings have 82.5in inside walls
- Note: Only available on 8ft, 10ft & 12ft widths and only for 81in inside wall height.

There are occasions where we are able to build them with some basic size modifications, but that must be discussed with your local dealer and shop to see if your modifications fall within the parameters of the Backyard Outfitters factory in your area. Backyard Outfitters and its associates are not responsible for permits, covenant searches, restrictions, set backs, yard damage, or underground damage. Please contact your local Building Inspector or Homeowners Association for information. It is the customer’s responsibility to decide if ground conditions are unsuitable for delivery. Free Delivery covers one trip up to 30 miles one way, over 30 miles subject to a $2/mile (8ft and 10ft wide) or $3.50 /mile (12ft and 14ft wide) charge one way, and any additional trips may also incur charges to the customer. Free Setup includes leveling, starting with one corner at ground level, up to 3ft with customer supplied blocks, we can supply blocks for $2.00 each.
